Today is our 15th wedding anniversary. We went to see ZOMBIELAND this afternoon (more of which tomorrow – suffice to say, GO SEE IT!). Tonight, we’re cooking a nice meal together (and eating it together, too). Anyone want to pop around? £50 per head.
Starters: dry cured meat platter, pimento stuffed olives, French bread
Main: fillet steak, dauphinoise potatoes, grilled salted asparagus, fried mushrooms, honey roasted carrots
Dessert: strawberry yoghurt
And … beer, of course.

Happy anniversary! The wife and I are working on our 20th year right now. Your menu is oddly curry-free. Salted asparagus sounds good. Hope you’re salting the tenderloin and mushrooms as well. You and Tracey have a great evening and don’t get too full to enjoy every aspect of the celebration. Wink wink nudge nudge.
