The REAL Exciting Announcement

I’m thrilled and delighted to announce that I’ll be writing the novelisation of the forthcoming 30 DAYS OF NIGHT movie for Pocket Books!
Due for release next October the movie, based on the stunningly excellent comic written by Steve Niles and illustrated by Ben Templesmith, will be directed by David Slade.
I am very, very pleased.
And with tomorrow being my last day in work before I plunge into the stormy seas of full-time writing … I am doubly pleased.
In a few days, an account of my last day in the same job I’ve been at for 17 years, and the leaving do tomorrow evening (I’m assuming it will take several days to recover from this … much beer is scheduled).
