The Face Fits!
The BBC have optioned my novel FACE! To say I’m thrilled would be an understatement. I signed the contract this week. With my best pen. Anyone interested in buying a copy of the trade hardcover from Night Shade, they’re still available from the usual dealers. The Leisure mass market edition is due for release this spring. More news on this as and when I hear!
I’ve just finished the new novella EXORCISING ANGELS in collaboration with Simon Clark, and it’s due to be released by Earthling Publications this October. There’ll also be an original short story from each of us in the volume, as well as a Foreword and Afterword. The novella itself is based around the Angels of Mons myth from World War One, inspired by (as I’m sure you all know) the short story ‘The Bowmen’, written by Arthur Machen. Simon and I have been toying with this idea for several years now – it was originally written as a screenplay treatment and pitched to a few production companies – and now that it’s complete, we’re both extremely pleased with the result.
