Immortal fun
I’m well into my new horror novel THE EVERLASTING, which will be published next year by Leisure books. It wasn’t an easy one to start … it just didn’t feel right. And then a woman called Maddy came along, popped into the story and introduced herself as an immortal, and now I’m roaring through it. It’s fast, spooky, and filled with twists and turns, and I know it’s going to be a great follow-up to BERSERK (which is still selling very well).
More good news on BERSERK – it’s just been sold to a Taiwanese publisher. I’m thrilled, and I can’t wait to see the finished product! Wonder if they’ll want a signing tour?
WHITE news: screenwriter Stephen Susco (THE GRUDGE) has just renewed his option on my novella WHITE. More news as and when …
Tim news: we’ve spent the last four weeks sleeping on our living room floor – with the kids sleeping in my study – while our upstairs has been gutted and reconfigured to form three bedrooms. The work was completed today, carpets laid, and so tonight we’re sleeping upstairs once again. No more strangers in our house, no more noise and dust and handing out wads of rolled twenty-pound notes. So, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll sign off and go up those wooded hills to Befordshire.
Night night.
