If you don’t ask …
Firstly, a slightly belated Happy New Year to you all (however many of you there are). I hope your 2008 is healthier, wealthier and sexier than ever before.
New years always seem to start with a bit of nice news, and this year is no exception. Had some very exciting news recently, but as usual it’s something I can’t announce just yet … believe me, as soon as I can, I will.
And as for this blog’s title … My broadband supplier for a long time has been Wanadoo. Realising I was still paying an old rate, that doesn’t seem to appear in their advertising anymore, I called them to see what they could do. Of course, I mentioned how much cheaper other suppliers were, and that seemed to galvanise them into action. The upshot of which is, I now have 3 months free broadband access, speed increased from 1mb to 8mb, and a £5 monthly reduction in my bill.
So if you want to get, ask. They sure won’t come to you.
