Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi – INTO THE VOID
I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that I’ll be writing a brand new Star Wars novel for Del Rey/Star Wars Books. The novel will be called Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi – INTO THE VOID, and is set in the Dawn of the Jedi era currently being explored by John Ostrander and Jan Duursema in their fantastic comic series.
I’m so excited about the novel, which I’ve already begun writing. I can’t say much more about it yet, but I’ll release more news and details here as and when I can. Watch this space!
I’m so proud to be creating a part of the wider Star Wars universe. When that 7 year old first went to the cinema to watch a new science fiction movie thirty-five years ago, he’d never have imagined that one day he would be writing a novel set in that same far away, long ago galaxy.
It’s going to be fun!

Terrific news, Tim. Congratulations. Why do I suspect that in this slice of the Star Wars universe, Jedi training will consist of long distance running, swilling of fine ales and curry consumption ?

I’m a big fan of DOTJ, and have integrated its aspects into the Star Wars role play I am involved in. I’ll be very happy to buy this and read more about the Je’daii, as they possess so much more power than the modern Jedi, and Gray.

Thanks Dan! I’d love to –– I always saw Lanoree’s story as a trilogy –– but I doubt it’ll happen now.

It’s a good book I read all and the ending not bad on into the void
