November update
It’s been a while! And that’s because although I have new book deals to announce, I still can’t quite announce them yet. As soon as the ink’s dry I’ll reveal what they are, but I’m very excited … an exciting deal for two thrillers, a major new tie-in project, and a trilogy that’s something a little different for me. Lots of good stuff happening over the next few years, so I’ll talk more about that soon.
Good news is that PAY THE GHOST finished shooting in Toronto, and a teaser poster has just been released (see below). The movie of my short story stars Nicolas Cage and Sarah Wayne Callies, and is directed by Uli Edel. More soon!
I also have a short story in the huge (700 pages!) new anthology, Dead Harvest. You can order from the Cemetery Dance website.
My spooky animated kids’ film MY HAUNTED HOUSE is in development, and there’ll hopefully be more on that soon. You can download a special MY HAUNTED HOUSE app. Fun for kids and adults. I’ll pass on more info as this movie progresses, but it’s going to be lots of fun.
In other movie news, EXORCISING ANGELS, written with Simon Clark, continues to be developed as a movie, and the script I wrote with the splendid Stephen Volk, PLAYTIME, is also in development.
I’m working on plenty of other projects, including a couple of TV series pitches. And as the end of November–the 8th anniversary of me going full-time as a writer–draws near, I’ve never been busier.
Oh, and next year I’ll be doing another ironman.
