Check out the David Gemmell Legend Award website, there’s loads of stuff on there about the award, David’s work and other stuff.

Gemmell really was a legend, and his books and characters still command huge respect and admiration among readers.  I read Legend a long time ago, and I still have vivid memories of the book – its twists and turns, incredible character, and wonderful landscapes.

Fitting, then, that this new award honours him and his work.

There’s a list of nominess here. A long list, reflecting the many fine fantasy books published in 2008, and I’m proud and thrilled to see that FALLEN is there, among many other great books.
