Corsair (Big News Part 2)
I’m delighted to announce that I’ve sold two horror novels to Corsair, the new fiction imprint of Constable & Robinson (read their October press release about Corsair here). The first book will be COLDBROOK, due for UK publication spring 2011, and the second is an as-yet untitled novel.
COLDBROOK is my biggest, longest, most ambitious novel to date. It’s an apocalyptic zombie novel with science fictional elements, a tale of the zombie plague and its aftermath in this world and beyond, and is perhaps summed up best here:
In the beginning, our world comes to an end. And after that things only get worse.
Corsair are an exciting new imprint headed by experienced editor James Gurbutt, and I am thrilled to be working with them on these novels. It will be an adventure.
