Good Morning Wales and HorrorMall

October 29th, 2009 • Posted in Random Stuff |

This Saturday (31st October, as it happens) I’ll be reviewing the newspapers on Good Morning Wales (BBC Radio Wales: 93 – 104 FM).  I’ve done this a few times before, but they wanted me in to do it on Hallowe’en because I’m a bit of a spooky bastard.   I have to get up at 5:45am to get to the studio, so the least you can do is listen (I’ll be on about 7:35am, I reckon)

Also in the news … I have a new Official Forum at Horror Mall.  You can go here to see all the Forums, scroll down to find mine.  Hope you’ll drop by and say hello/ask a question/offend me.

We’re going to a Hallowe’en party on Saturday, dressing as a zombie family.  There’s a reason for that, which I hope to be able to talk about more soon.  But the immediate reason is, it’s easy to dress up!  Pics posted soon …

More Good Mornings, and Nick Cave

March 19th, 2009 • Posted in Book News, Random Stuff |

I’ve been asked to do some paper reviews on BBC Wales’ Good Morning Wales show, which should be fun.  Starts in 3 weeks, I’ll remind you again nearer the time (just in case you’ll be around that early).  I hope I can say what I want, within reason … we shall see.

More good news yesterday, I sold a story to a great anthology called UP JUMPED THE DEVIL, a collection of shorts stories influenced by Nick Cave songs.  I chose O’Malley’s Bar from Murder Ballads, and wrote what I think it a pretty powerful piece.  Thrilled to be included in the book, which is edited by Douglas Warrick and Kyle Johnson, and will be published by the wonderfully brilliant PS Publishing.
