Bantam Spectra are celebrating 25 years by focussing on a novel for each year, chatting about it, and speaking with the authors. For 2008 that novel is MIND THE GAP, by me and the splendid Christopher Golden.

The ‘Falls’ falls from ECHO CITY FALLS

My forthcoming novel from Bantam in the USA (October ’10) and Orbit UK (June ’11) is now called ECHO CITY. I’m currently working on revisions, and have just spent a very productive couple of hours in Coffee #1 in Abergavenny brainstorming a couple of issues. A mocha and a coconut flapjack helped, oh yes.

My new novel THE ISLAND is out today in the USA from Bantam Spectra!

Publishers Weekly gave it a lovely Starred Review (third in a row!), and other initial feedback has also been excellent. It’s quite different from previous Noreela novel FALLEN, and I’m thrilled with how it turned out. Please give it a go!

I thought I’d post an update on forthcoming book releases. Where these are available for pre-order, I’ve posted an Amazon link, but ordering from your local bookstore is always good.

You’ll also see Mind the Gap and Fallen released in mass market paperback format early next year, both by Bantam Spectra.

And as well as this, a limited edition of Mind the Gap from Cemetery Dance, and another book from them at some point. And there are other projects I can’t announce just yet, and a couple of announcement that are pending.

I’m also working on a crime novel. Oh yes.
